Impact – Twitter has a massive following and is one of the most popular social media websites around, TOY doesn’t have a particularly large following on twitter however its still over 3000 and that’s still a fair few especially if each one of these people tells another person and so one it can quickly spread to thousands more that know about the comic.

With the way twitter works its good for promotional messages and images as it has a specific word count to each post, with this it only tells/shows the important parts of a message rather than going through a huge article to find one piece of information twitter makes it easy to be informed.

Pros –

• Easy to use software and very simple for newcomers

• Because of its simplicity and as I mention before post word count it’s very easy to find and soak up information read on twitter

• It’s easy to follow anyone who posts on twitter and catch up with latest information

• Public figures and brands can be certified on twitter so that you know it’s the real deal and not a con artist

Cons –

• Limited amount of space so if you wanted to blog an essay your using the wrong site

• Posts can be buried for example if too many people post at the same time your post may not even get viewed

Ease of access of platforms – twitter is viewable on any web browser and there is a mobile app

Transferability to others – Twitter is great for new creators to post updates about the things they are working on although it’s not the best place to post images of what they are working on, it’s still useful as it has multiple tools that people looking can do to show there interest such as a heart tool, comments section and repost so that that specific post can get more views on their individual walls therefore getting more publicity

Because twitter works with a following its easy to share your work and updates with allot of people I myself have created a twitter before and found I had gathered over 1000 followers in under two weeks so it’s not difficult to gather following all that’s left is for the creator to provide interest so that the followers keep following.
