TOY patreon
As tripping over you is still a relatively new comic and doesn’t have a set income for sales, they have a patron in which they you pledge a certain amount of money to the artists so that they can continue to create their work, there are numerous monthly pledges starting from 1 dollar going upto 30 dollar pledges and the incentive to pledging more money is bonus content form the creators such as exclusive art and more.

Impact – Because TOYs patreon works on a monthly payment system and as long as people keep donating money, you can guarantee that Tripping over you this also gives the creators a sense of worth and can allow them to create better more money worth shall I say content, another thing because the patreon system has become extremely popular with upcoming comics and artist you can safely assume donating money no matter how large will be safe and not worry about it being a con.
Pros
Patreon has a quickly growing community so TOY is more than likely going to be discovered by more and more people, therefore finding more fans and helping the comic along the way
It’s away for artists to actually get paid and feel appreciated for what they do and produce to make fans happy
Cons
Discoverability is a big thing I think because patreon although now improved does not work well with tags you could mention anything that TOY involves such as LGBT to romance and still might find it difficult to find if you weren’t religiously searching

Ease of access of platforms – Patreon is accessible via accessing the internet so you can find it on a normal webpage, however there is also a patreon app for easier access on phones and tablet there is also a link on the official website for the comic.
Transferability to others
Due to the success of tripping over yours patreon and they have a semi-steady salary per month, it might encourage other small artists to create a patreon and gain publicity and make content that they can post to the public.
