Fan art pages
Tripping over you also has an official fan art section of their website called tripping over you extra, in which it has 3 sections, two of which are dedicated to the artist’s individual work on the comic, the third section is dedicated to fan art, the way to submit fan art as I know is to send it to the comics official Tumblr page or personal email and they will decide whether or not to put it on their website

Impact – Tripping over you has a considerable amount of fan art posted and some of the best is posted on the official fan page linked to the official website, it allows the creators to see what people like most and if they decide to do so can add more of that said thing to the official comic if they see fit to do so.
Pros
Fans can show their love for the artists and there work by posting their own versions of characters
You can find bonus artwork by the original artists on some fan pages (if they are directly linked to the official website)
It allows the creators and fans to see how many people are interested in their work and how they interpret what they have read
Cons
Due to the comic being a BL comic, the creators will get some fan art that is inappropriate to post on their own fan pages.
Some fans could get offended because their work did not get posted on the official site
Ease of access of platforms – if you can access the website on your phone you should be able to access the fan page however there is not a app for said page/website.
Transferability to others
TOYs fan page helps Tripping of You by allowing feedback in another way rather than just getting worded suggestions it has visual scenes in which they could reference and also as I said if enough people draw a similar thing such as character or scenario it could be added if the artists feel it’s appropriate.
And seen as its linked to the official website its not a stone throw away from the official comic, even if you found fan art on some other website or google images if you liked it enough you may research what it’s based on and find the original comic/website therefore helping the website.
